Job: Ruby on Rails Programmer

• Write well-tested, readable, reusable Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Work with QA to plan and execute testing of new features
• Work with stakeholders to ensure completeness and correctness of features
• Participate in task/feature estimation
• Collaborate on system architecture
• Provide technical feedback to aid in gathering of requirements
• Participate in knowledge-sharing code reviews
• Participate in the system-support backup rotation

Qualifications:

• Significant experience writing Ruby/Rails applications
• Experience writing unit and functional tests
• Experience building and maintaining high volume multi-tier website applications
• Experience with agile development (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)
• Ability to clearly and succinctly express your opinions and ideas
• Confident self-starter capable of setting plans and driving to completion
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems a strong plus
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services a plus.
• Bachelors degree in CS or related field preferred
• Good sense of humor and enjoys working as part of a team
• Build automation and deployment skills a plus (Bundler, EC2, RightScale, Maven, etc.)
• Rails or SQL performance optimization experience a plus
